RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

We hope that you are happy with everything you buy from us, however if this is not the case, we will refund any item you are unhappy with when you return it to us in original condition within 14 calendar days of receipt of your order. Returns after this time period will not be accepted.

All swimwear items and earrings are none refundable or exchangeable, this includes worn or unworn items due to hygiene reasons.

Please also note that if you select delivery to a safe place with the courier and the parcel is missing or stolen we are not responsible. Items will not be refunded or replaced. 

The customer is responsible for inputting the correct delivery address. If the address or postcode input is incorrect you will not be refunded should the parcel not arrive or go missing.

Please note buttons, pearls, crystals or any embellishments which fall due to wear are not classed as faulty and will not be refunded. Any items that have been tampered with or who signs of deliberate damage will be rejected. 

By purchasing from us you are agreeing to these terms.

Please note that we check all items before shipping. Any items that have been clearly worn, have been washed, have make-up marks, fake tan marks, have perfume or other scents such as body odour, cigarette smoke or washing powder are not eligible to be returned and will be sent back to you. Any items that have been tampered with or damaged will be rejected.

 

  • Fill in the enclosed returns form or we will be unable to identify you and process the return. If you do not have a form please enclose a slip of paper stating your name and order number.
  • Please place your returned goods without removing any labels or tags in a sealed bag with the returns form filled in with the relevant information.
  • Full refund will be given for the cost of the item, excluding postage & returns cost.
  • Return the package by using the Post Office counters. We recommend Royal Mail second class signed service. USE TRACKED ROYAL MAIL SERVICES ONLY. For your protection use a tracked method, as any missing parcel is your responsibility. Keep hold of your tracking number.
  • Madam Mayfair cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the parcel whilst in transit. We can not issue a refund for a missing parcel and we can not help you further.
  • Hermes, DHL, Parcelforce, UPS, Fedex, Yodel do NOT deliver to a PO Box address. If your parcel is redirected due to a non Royal Mail service being used this is your responsibility. 
  • Once your return is received please allow up to 14 working days for returns to be inspected and your refund to be processed. You will receive an email stating when your account has been credited. Please do not contact us before 14 days has passed.

If in the unlikely event that your goods are damaged or faulty in any way, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods (info@madammayfair.com). We will aim to resolve this problem as soon as possible, but if a refund is required you must have your certificate of posting for your delivery charge to be refunded. We will refund the cost of second class Royal Mail only. All return postage costs from outside the UK must also be paid by the customer. 

 

EXCHANGES

  • Please note you may only make an exchange on the same item once.
  • You will be required to pay a £2.50 exchange shipping fee via paypal.
  • If you then return the exchanged item the additional postage cost will be deducted from your refund amount.

Please note any credit codes issued must be used within 6 months.

You have 14 days to inform us of your intention to return an item.

Delivery charges for international orders will NOT be refunded, nor will express delivery charges. International returns must be marked as returned items on a customs declaration. Failure to do so will result in the customs and duty charges applied being deducted from your refund.
